Hey There!
Searching through the google images of my name (yes I know, I was bored okay), I came across a photo that I'd posted on another post on here... and remembered that it existed! I'd completely forgotten *hangs head in shame*.
But I found it again, so hooray!
What's changed in the last 18 months?
Oh, so much.
2012 was an absolutely mental year. My friends and I have developed and strengthened beyond belief. It was NOT an easy year, we dealt with depression, self harm, eating disorders, suicide, recovery, relapse, faith, doubt, miscommunication, and trust to name a few. But we got through it, thanks to God, and I'm very glad we did it together as we've come out so much closer and much better people as a result.
Also... I finished college! I'd only just started the last time I wrote and I've been all the way through it! I'm not really going to go into detail because it's college, and it's dull.
I got a great group of friends at college, though most of them are leaving for uni in September.
I also have some wonderful friends at Group where I'm now a leader. I say Group, it's a mix of Group and Church because some of them have left Group already. This reminds me, I'm 18 now! We go to the pub on a Sunday evening, and I am now finally able to buy alcohol, though I don't usually, because that's not why we go. It's just a great place to socialise. Man, I love my friends.
Life is good! I'm starting an internship at Church in September, so I'll be working alongside some of my friends in one of my favourite places on Earth and a place that I call home, I have plans to go to Leeds the year after, I have a healthy self esteem and wonderful friends, I am developing my confidence and social skills, and I'm getting closer to God and progressing our relationship.
So, yeah, just a short catch up today, but hopefully I'll start keeping this up to date and writing regularly.
I might as well chuck in a list of my webpages etc. so you can keep in touch!
